Isabel Garcia
Isabel Garcia is a Spanish double bassist currently pursuing a Master of Performance at the Royal College of Music with Rodrigo Moro, supported by the Knights Award. She plays with the London Philharmonic Orchestra as part of one of their projects and is also taking part in the BBC Symphony Orchestra Pathway Scheme.
At age 16 she moved to the UK to study at the Yehudi Menuhin School and later completed her Bachelor of Music at the Royal College of Music as a scholarship holder, graduating with First Class Honours in 2024.
Isabel is passionate about teaching and nurturing young musicians. She currently works at Ealing Junior Music School, introducing beginners to the double bass and guiding more advanced students through exams, auditions, and performances. Her teaching focuses on building solid technique, musical expression, and confidence, helping students develop both their skills and their love of music.
