Principal's Welcome
Welcome to North London Conservatoire, encompassing our music kindergartens from the age of 6 months through to our comprehensive music education programme for children up to the age of 19 years. High-quality, structured, creative music education has been shown significantly to enhance speech and cognitive development, as well as educational attainment and the NLC has been a leader in this field for nearly 30 years. For children aged 5-19 years, we offer a package including one-to-one instrumental music lessons, with musicianship classes designed to develop a wider understanding of music and inner hearing. From early on, we have children performing regularly in concerts that allow them to build confidence and see others performing, showing where their musical journey might lead. We also offer orchestras, ensembles, and choirs, along with workshops, chamber music, masterclasses and residential trips to develop musical skills further in a fun and sociable way.
